At Bronfelen Farm, we're passionate about providing you with quality meat, raised with care and love on our family farm. Our commitment to animal welfare means you can trust that every cut of meat comes from animals that have been raised ourselves in the beautiful Welsh countryside.
Our Story
We're first-generation farmers from Sussex who met at agricultural college and made the leap to Wales in 2020, with our flock of sheep in tow. On our 53 acres (plus extra dotted around our local area), we keep sheep, pigs, chickens, and dogs—plus one daughter who's absolutely obsessed with the chickens. We lamb 180 ewes annually, keeping our animals grazing year-round (except during lambing season, when we're in the barn playing midwife). Our sheep also graze conservation land owned by the Carbon Community Charity.
Come summer, we open our secluded Yurt for glampers, as well as off grid campers who fancy a taste of farm life... and our amazing views! Follow our socials to see what we're really up to—spoiler: it's rarely boring.
What We Offer
We offer a variety of homegrown meat options, perfect for families who want to stock their freezers with farm-fresh meat. Each animal is carefully selected before going to the butchers, then returning back home to be processed and packaged by us ready to be delivered to your door.
Thank you for choosing Bronfelen Farm Shop. We're honored to be part of your family's meals.
All the Best

... The real nitty gritty of buying direct
We believe you deserve to know where your food comes from, who raised it, and why it costs what it does. When you buy meat in a supermarket, the price on the shelf can be surprisingly far removed from the farmer who produced it. Paying more at the checkout doesn’t mean the farmer receives more. Supermarket middlemen, processing, distribution and retail markups all take their share, while the people caring for the animals can have very little say in the final price.
When you buy directly from our Welsh farm, it is much simpler and more honest. 100% of your purchase goes back into the farm and to the people who raised the animals. Your order helps pay for the time, skill, feed, land and care involved in producing good food — rather than disappearing into layers of a supermarket supply chain. We are not a factory, we are small scale meaning everything is done by hand. And with that, things don't come cheap to us like packaging etc.
Our lamb and pork are raised here on our Welsh farm to high welfare standards. We take pride in giving our animals a good life, with space to move, careful husbandry and the time they need to grow properly. We believe that looking after the animals well is not separate from producing quality meat; it is at the heart of it.
The price you pay reflects the true cost of real, quality food raised with care. It is not an arbitrary supermarket markup. It reflects the land, labour, welfare and craftsmanship behind every box, from our farm to your kitchen. Buying direct is a practical way to support a small Welsh farm and make a more meaningful connection with your food. Thank you for choosing to buy from us — every order genuinely helps us keep farming in a way we are proud of.
